Know Where Your Business Stands Before an IT Problem Becomes a Business Crisis.
Are your technology systems secure, reliable, and properly managed? Our free IT & Cybersecurity Assessment helps business owners and executives understand potential weaknesses, identify priorities, and make better-informed technology decisions.
Receive a business-focused review of your IT operations and cybersecurity posture, with findings explained in plain language and a practical path forward.
You Cannot Manage Technology Risks You Cannot See.
Technology problems are not always obvious. Backups may run without ever being tested. Former employees may still have access. Aging network equipment can create unexpected outages. Security policies may exist without being consistently followed.
Our assessment is designed to bring these issues into focus so you can decide what needs attention now, what can wait, and where your IT budget can make the greatest difference.
Whether you already have an IT provider, employ an internal IT team, or manage technology yourself, an independent perspective can help clarify your priorities.
A Report You Can Actually Use
- A summary of the areas reviewed
- Recorded findings and control status
- Potential business consequences
- Prioritized recommendations
- Clear explanations without unnecessary jargon

See What an Executive-Ready Assessment Report Looks Like.
We believe business leaders should know what they are receiving before committing time to an assessment. Our 18-page example shows how findings can be organized into a practical decision-making document.
It includes an executive overview, assessment coverage, a weighted health score, category-level results, a control-status heatmap, prioritized findings, business consequences, and recommendations.
The sample uses a fictional organization and illustrative findings. Your actual report will reflect only the controls assessed and the evidence available during your engagement.
Open the 18-Page Sample Report →What the report explains
- Which safeguards were reviewed
- What passed, needs improvement, or failed
- How weaknesses may affect business operations
- Which issues warrant priority attention
- How improvements can be approached
Example metrics are not PBCLLC client results, industry averages, or predictions of breach likelihood. Scores are weighted snapshots of assessed controls, not certifications.

The goal is not to overwhelm you with technical findings. It is to give leadership useful visibility into technology risks and improvement opportunities.

What Business Leaders Want to Know
Is the IT & Cybersecurity Assessment really free?
Yes. The initial assessment within the scope we agree on is provided at no charge. You are not required to purchase managed IT, cybersecurity products, or remediation services. Any additional in-depth testing or implementation would be discussed and separately authorized.
Do we need to change IT providers to get an assessment?
No. Organizations with an existing IT provider or internal IT team can request an assessment. The purpose is to provide additional visibility and help leadership understand its options.
Will the assessment interrupt our business or require intrusive testing?
We agree on the scope and permissions before beginning. An initial assessment may rely on interviews, documentation, configuration reviews, and available evidence. Intrusive testing, penetration testing, and system changes are not included unless separately scoped and expressly authorized.
Does the report certify us as secure or compliant?
No. This is a business-focused IT and cybersecurity assessment, not a penetration test, formal audit opinion, certification, or guarantee of security. Findings depend on the agreed scope and evidence reviewed. Formal compliance assessments may require additional work by appropriately qualified assessors.
How detailed will our report be?
The sample demonstrates the style and possible depth of reporting, including control statuses and prioritized findings. Your actual report may differ in length, categories, number of controls, and level of detail depending on the agreed scope and information available.
What happens after we receive the findings?
We explain the findings and can discuss possible next steps. You decide whether to address issues internally, work with your current provider, or request a separate proposal from PBCLLC.
